This program is only for store staff (sales associates and store managers) who work for authorised and preapproved Maui Jim optical (prescription) retailers in Australia or New Zealand (each an Eligible Retailer).
Only eligible sales made in a physical retail store by a registered participant count. Online, phone or other remote sales do not count unless Maui Jim confirms in writing that they are included.
You must still be employed by an Eligible Retailer when points are awarded and when rewards are issued. Maui Jim employees, agents and contractors involved in running this program (and their immediate family members) cannot participate.
2. Promotional Period
The program starts at 12:01am on 1 June 2026 and ends at 11:59pm on 31 July 2026 (AEST/AEDT) (the Promotional Period).
Points are only awarded for qualifying prescription sunglass orders that Maui Jim invoices during the Promotional Period and that meet the criteria in section 4.
3. How to Participate (Entry Requirements)
To take part, you must be registered on the rewards platform and submit each qualifying sale through the platform by 11:59pm on 15 August 2026 (AEST/AEDT) (the Submission Deadline). By registering or submitting a claim, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Claims received after the Submission Deadline will not be accepted and will not earn points.
You must provide and keep a valid personal email address in your profile so digital rewards can be delivered. Check your junk/spam folders and make sure program emails are not blocked.
4. Qualifying Sales
These do not count as qualifying sales: repairs, remakes/redo orders, and warranty replacements.
A Qualifying Sale is a complete Maui Jim prescription sunglass order that includes (1) a Maui Jim frame and (2) prescription sun lenses featuring Maui Brilliant, Maui Ultra or Maui Ultra Photochromic (a Complete Sun Rx).
Nonprescription Maui Jim sales do not earn points.
Prescription orders with Polycarbonate or Maui Evolution lenses are excluded and do not earn points.
Frame-only purchases do not earn points.
Patient-supplied frame prescription sun orders may count if Maui Jim supplies the qualifying prescription lenses and Maui Jim invoices the order during the Promotional Period (verification required).
For a sale to count, Maui Jim must invoice the order during the Promotional Period (even if it was ordered earlier).
5. Points and Rewards
You earn 1 point for each verified Complete Sun Rx that you submit correctly and that meets these Terms and Conditions.
Each point can be redeemed for one AU$30 digital Visa gift card supplied by a third-party provider. The card issuer’s terms apply (including expiry, fees and how to redeem). Cards may be issued in AUD. If you are in New Zealand, your bank or the issuer may apply exchange rates or fees, which are your responsibility.
6. Verification, Records and Accountability
Maui Jim may verify claims against its order and invoicing records and may request supporting documents from you or your Eligible Retailer.
You must make sure the information you submit is accurate, complete and not duplicated, and you must keep any reasonable records needed to support your claim.
If a claim can’t be verified, is duplicated, or doesn’t meet these Terms and Conditions, Maui Jim may (acting reasonably) refuse to award points or issue a reward.
7. Fraud, Misconduct and Disqualification
Maui Jim may disqualify a participant and cancel points if it reasonably believes the participant has: provided false or misleading information; tampered with the platform;
submitted someone else’s sale; or otherwise acted in a way that undermines the fair operation of the program.
Points must be claimed by the individual staff member who made the sale. Points cannot be pooled or transferred between staff, except where you are registered in the platform as working across multiple Eligible Retailers.
8. Reward Issuance
Rewards are expected to be issued within 8 weeks after the Submission Deadline (currently by 25 September 2026), subject to verification and third-party fulfilment timeframes.
Digital gift cards will be sent to the email address in your platform profile. Delivery may be affected by spam filters or security settings outside Maui Jim’s control.
Rewards are not transferable, not exchangeable and not redeemable for cash, except where required by law.
You are responsible for keeping your contact details up to date. If a reward email bounces or is not delivered, Maui Jim will attempt to contact you using the details in your profile. If you do not respond within 30 days of contact (or, if no contact is possible, within 60 days after issue), the reward may be treated as unclaimed and may be cancelled or reissued in accordance with applicable law and the card issuer’s processes.
9. Region, Currency and Local Requirements
Unless we say otherwise, money amounts are in Australian dollars (AUD). If a reward is issued or used in another currency (including NZD), exchange rates and conversion fees may apply and are the participant’s responsibility.
10. Privacy and Data Handling
We collect and use personal information to run this program (including to verify claims, contact you, and issue rewards). We handle personal information in line with applicable privacy laws, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Australia) and the Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand).
We may share your information with service providers who help operate the platform and fulfil rewards (for example, True Rewards/iGoDirect and their subcontractors). Some providers may store or process information outside Australia or New Zealand. Where required, we will take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle information in a way that is consistent with applicable privacy laws.
Our privacy policy and the rewards provider’s privacy policy are available on their websites.
